The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) is an American reality TV series that premiered on Bravo on October 14, 2010. Developed as the sixth installment of the Real Housewives franchise, it airs 10 seasons and focuses on the personal and professional lives of several women living in Beverly Hills, California.

The current cast consists of Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erica Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Garsel Beauvais, Sutton Strack and Crystal Kun Minkoff, with Kathy Hilton currently serving as a friend of the housewife. Previous cast members include original cast members Camille Grammer, Taylor Armstrong, Adrian Maloof, Kim Richards and Lisa Vander pump. They were then joined by Brandi Glanville, Yolanda Hadid, Carlton Gebbia, Joyce Girough, Irene Davidson, Catherine Edwards, Teddy Mellencamp Alloyave and Dennis Richards.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was announced in March 2010 as the sixth installment of the Real Housewives franchise. The first season premiered on October 14, 2010 and starred Kyle Richards, Adrian Maloof, Kim Richards, Lisa Vander pump, Camille Grammer and Taylor Armstrong. The series won the 2011 Critics’ Choice Award for best reality series.

The second season, which premiered on September 5, 2011, featured Brandi Glanville and Dana Wilkie as housewives’ friends. The second season was re-edited after the death of Taylor Armstrong’s husband Russell Armstrong, who committed suicide on August 15, 2011. Glamour left the main cast after the second season.

The third season aired on November 5, 2012. Granville has been upgraded as the main cast member and Yolanda Foster has been added to the series. Marisa Zanuck and Faye Resnick were introduced as housewives’ friends, while Glamour was downgraded as a friend. Adrian Mallouk did not return for a fourth season after not attending the Season 3 reunion.

The fourth season premiered on November 4, 2013 and starred Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Gireau. Armstrong was demoted to the guest role. Gireau and Gebbia were not asked after the fourth season.

The fifth season premiered on November 18, 2014, with Lisa Rinna and Irene Davidson as the new housewives. Maloof, Glamour and Armstrong appeared on the season as guests. Kim Richards and Granville were asked back for a sixth season as regular cast members.

Erica Girardi and Catherine Edwards take part in the sixth season of the show, which premiered on December 1, 2015. Kim Richards, Glamour, Armstrong, Resnick, Maloof and Granville are back with guest appearances alongside Bethenny Frankel from The Real Housewives of New York City. The season was Hadid’s final season and Edwards’ only.

The seventh season premiered on December 6, 2016 with new cast dorit Kemsley. Eden Sassoon was on the show repeatedly, while Kim Richards and Glamour also appeared regularly throughout the season. Davidson and Sassoon left the series after a seventh season.

The eighth season premiered on December 19, 2017, with Teddy Mellencamp Alloave joining the new cast. Glamour returned as a housewife friend, with Davidson, Resnick and Maloof appearing as guests.

The ninth season premiered on February 12, 2019. All six cast members from the previous season performed, with Dennis Richards. Glamour returned as a housewife friend, with Kim Richards, Granville and Resnick appearing as guests. Vander pump ended the show after the ninth season.

Garcel Beauvais joined the 10th season as the main cast, which premiered on April 15, 2020. Sutton Strack made his debut as a housewife friend. Glamour, Kim Richards, Maloof, Granville, Davidson and Resnick also made guest appearances during the season. Dennis Richards announced his withdrawal from the show after the 10th season and Mellencamp Alloyave was sacked.

In the 11th season, which premieres May 19, 2021, Krystal Kanminkov will join the show and join the main cast after Strack was previously taken up as a housewife friend. Kathy Hilton will join as a “housewife friend.”

Broadcast history

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs regularly on Bravo in the US. Most episodes are about 42-44 minutes long and air in standard definition and high definition. Since its premiere, the series has aired alternately on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, frequently shifting between 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00 PM time slots.
